In SMART FLOW: Energizing the Pilates Experience, instructors will learn how to turn thoughtful programming into a connected, dynamic class experience. Using the S.M.A.R.T. programming framework and F.L.O.W. teaching priorities, this session explores how sequencing, modifications, repetition, transitions, cueing, pacing, and whole-body purpose work together to create classes that feel seamless, energizing, and grounded in precision.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Apply the S.M.A.R.T. programming framework to organize Pilates classes with clear sections, purposeful sequencing, and smooth transitions.
Use the F.L.O.W. teaching priorities to support class rhythm, concise cueing, optimized pacing, and whole-body connection.
Select modifications and progressions that support different client needs while maintaining movement and energy.
Apply repetition, transitions, and pacing strategies to create a class experience that feels connected rather than fragmented.
Demonstrate practical ways to maintain breath, alignment, control, and movement quality within a dynamic Pilates class.
